Upon arrival

My wife and I and 13 year old son had a mini getaway to St Augustine and we stayed here . Upon our arrival I noticed work being done to the property . I surely wasn’t happy about that, at check in I asked the front desk person it would of been nice if they would have stated on there website work being done to the pool and site. I was unhappy that we could not enjoy the pool. And just the nose happening during our arrival . I didn’t want to be a pain guest but I did wish I had asked for some refund back. Also our room was dusty and the bathroom was dirty hair in the shower . The sliding door to the bathroom was very hard to open and close it was getting stuck . You could tell the rooms where being remodeled but ours looked like they rushed it . Breakfast was free that was amazing. If I knew they where going to be working on the pool and the rooms I would of stayed else where .
